Great News!

Oh my gosh! I have such great news to share!

Ill start my story from the beginning.

In art class a month ago, my art teacher asked if anyone would like enter our artwork in a contest for the University.

I told him no thanks, and when class was over I went my separate way. The next day at school I saw flyer's every where for the art exhibition. Something was just telling me to enter some of my pieces. I talked to my love about maybe entering 2 works of mine, and asked if he would help me decide. 

So later that night at home, I laid out my art and my family and my love picked the best 2.

The next session of my art class, I asked my teacher if I could get an entry form to enter. He had a smile on his face and said "Changed your mind huh?"

I just smiled

Well I entered 2 pieces. It was a waiting game from there.

On Tuesday I finally heard from the gallery. 

Unfortunately, I didn't make it in the Large Gallery

but... I made it to the Student Gallery. Which is way better because thousands of students walk through that gallery! I am so excited that both of my pieces made it!

They will be hung April 17th. When they are up I will make sure to share pictures with you.
